Can I have phones at multiple/different addresses?
Yes, with CFH CABLE INC, you can have phones at any address (providing we offer service at that location). So, you can have 5 phones at the main office, 2 phones in the warehouse down the street, and one phone at the sales person's home office. All of the phones work together as one phone system.
What brand are the phones?
We primarily offer phones from Polycom as well as a cordless phone from Cisco.
Can I add more phones at a later time?
Yes, that's the beauty of a hosted PBX.
Can I add more lines at a later time?
Yes, at any time you can contact CFH CABLE and purchase additional lines. By the time you are off the phone with CFH CABLE, the lines are set up and active.
Do the phones have Caller ID, speakerphones, and intercom capabilities?
Yes, the phones have these capabilities PLUS call transfer, conference calling, redial call park, call hold, handset mode, mute, and much more.
Do the phones have headset capabilities?
Yes, the phones support any type of powered headset.
Can you have a fax machine with a dedicated line?
You may purchase the optional Fax Adapter and plug a fax machine into it.
How reliable is the wireless?
The Desk Phones Wireless adapters use 802.11 G and run on a wireless network created by the Wireless Transmitter. This way, only your phone calls are on the wireless network.
What is the range of the phones if I use the Wireless Adapter and Wireless Transmitter?
Roughly 40 ft., depending on walls and other obstacles.
What happens if the power goes out?
CFH CABLE has multiple fail-over options to ensure you continue to receive your important phone calls. In the event that your phone system is down for any reason, incoming calls are automatically routed to fail over phone numbers (such as cell phones). Through the Admin Portal you can set up a different failover phone number for each phone if you choose.
What are the long distance rates outside of Continental U.S.?
Generally, our toll free rates are 30-40% lower than our competition. An CFH CABLE product specialist can assist you with any specific pricing you require.
Is there music on hold?
Yes, the system comes with standard hold music, but the customer can upload their own music/hold message through the Admin Portal.
PHONE SERVICE QUESTIONS
Is service provided outside of the U.S.?
No, CFH CABLE service is only provided in the U.S.
What is the minimum number of phones I can buy?
1 phone and 1 line of phone service.
What is the maximum number of phones I can buy?
You can have up to 100 phones in one location.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes, CFH CABLE allows you to transfer or "port" your existing phone numbers. This applies to toll-free numbers as well.
Do you have separate voicemails for each extension?
Yes, each phone comes with its own voicemail box. The voicemail box can be accessed through the phone, by calling in from any phone, or from each phones Web portal. Users may also configure their voicemail box to send an email with a.WAV attachment when a voicemail is received. Lastly, users can forward voicemail messages to other users or groups of users through the phone or Web.
Does your phone system have rollover or does it default to voicemail if the line is not answered?
Each phone can handle at least two calls. This means that if you are on a call and another call comes in, you will be alerted via a call waiting tone and your phone will display that another call is coming in. You may place the first caller on hold and take the second call. If a third call comes in, it will go to the voicemail box for that phone.
Does your system provide remote access to voicemail?
Yes, you may call your own phone from anywhere and enter your PIN to access your voicemail. Additionally each user can go to portal.cfhcable.net and enter the phone number of their phone and their PIN and can listen to their messages from any computer.

Do I have to sign a long contract?
No, there is no contract or cancellation fees.

No, the CFH CABLE Hosted PBX system and service is a bundled solution of phones and phone lines.

How long does it take to transfer or "port" an existing number to CFH CABLE INC?
Generally, porting a number can be completed in 7 to 15 business days. The exact length of time will depend on the service provider from which we are porting the number and the accuracy of the information placed in the port request. We will work with you to complete the necessary paperwork and then submit the request.
